Good to know

• We have some flexibility built into our service (within reason), so don't fret if your flight is a little late or you are late arriving at the trailhead at the end of your walk.
• We allow for a 15 minute stop at a supermarket or outdoor shop if required and if time allows.
• We aim to stop for a comfort break every two hours on longer journeys.
• We will have standard gas cylinders (100g and 230g sizes) for sale in our vehicle.

Child car seats

Under New Zealand law, all children under seven years must use a child restraint (also called a car seat) that’s appropriate for their age, size, and development. They can’t travel in a vehicle if you can’t put them in an approved child restraint. This means a rear facing car seat for a baby up until 12 months old and front facing car seat for 6 months infants to 4 years old.

Car seats can be hired for $50 per trip. Please let us know if you require a child car seat.

Cancellation policy

If a cancellation is made within 48 hours of pickup time, a full refund less a 20% admin charge will be provided (this covers credit card fees, admin, etc). No refund will be provided for cancellations with less 48 hours’ notice. See full Ts&Cs here.

If you have any questions or need to make changes to your itinerary, feel free to get in touch - we’re happy to help.

Special note

Due to to the situation in the Middle East and current fuel price uncertainty, we reserve the right to make a surcharge before departure and will only do this if absolutely necessary. We very much appreciate your understanding and support as these changes are impacting all operators at the moment.
